"When I need you" was a hit for Leo Sayer in 1977. When I need you was Leo sayers first UK number 1 (that's right…his first single 'I won’t let the show go on' only made number 2 in the charts). This is a beautiful song and a brilliant backing track. We've used a real atmospheric electric piano on it and put it in to a key that a male singing voice can reach. Leo sayer has an exceptionally high voice and few male singing voices can reach this high, so check out this male key version if this is a song you always wanted to sing but could never reach.
