Track Review:
"Nightbirds" was a hit for Shakatak in 1982. Jazz funk didn't come much better than Shakatak back in the early eighties. Piano players out there will remember the Yamaha electric grand the keyboard player played on Top of The Pops (I think it was the CP80 if my memory serves me well). This backing track is similar to the original song and is pretty much an instrumental where the only vocal part is where the female sings 'flying through the night...' etc.
