"Wake me up before you go go" was a hit for Wham in 1984. OK, it's time to get out your old Choose Life T-Shirt and bop along to this great eighties classic song by Wham. This backing track is real upbeat and showcases George Michaels talents when they were at their absolute best (ie before he went solo, turned gay, seemed to drop his trousers in public every other week, and started releasing drug-fuelled 'poor me' type un-tuneful ballads with abstract lyrics no one can understand. So, maybe the lyrics 'wake me up before you go go' isn't deep and meaningful but music's supposed to be fun right?
