Brief History

Hugh has been a professional singer and guitarist for over 20 years, mainly around his home town of Blackpool, in the north west of England.

He has also performed in Germany and Norway and had a 5 year spell working for Royal Caribbean Cruise Line in the 1980's.

For several years Hugh fronted his own band, Miami Beach, and more recently he has been performing as a solo artist, playing in clubs and hotels on the Fylde Coast.

In summer 2006 Hugh sang to enthusiastic audiences onboard the cruise ship Island Escape in the Mediterranean.

In 2007 and 2008 Hugh enjoyed 2 more successful seasons on the Island Star, culminating in working 4 months of the winter of 2008/9 in the Caribbean, again on the Island Star.

Music

Hugh has an extensive library of music and can play for all ages and tastes.

Hugh is an excellent guitarist and sings top hits from the 50's to today, including songs from Ronan Keating, Robbie Williams, Eric Clapton, Queen, Barry White, Bryan Adams, the Beatles and Elvis Presley to name a few.

Hugh sings classic swing tunes and ballads, drawing on the repertoire of Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Nat King Cole, Bobby Darin, Michael Buble and Matt Monro.

Hugh is ideal for a cruise ship, hotel, club, restaurant, golf club, wedding or a corporate function. He is fully self contained and his backing tracks are of the highest quality.
