Biography

Deak Rivers has been an avid Buddy & Elvis fan from his childhood. Deak has been in the music business for more that 15 years, and has worked long and hard on his performances.

He has amazed and astounded audiences up & down the country, with the look and feel of two of the greatest rock 'n' roll legends. He is one of only a handful of performers, who is able to vocally switch between the two greats to give you an outstanding and unbelievable tribute to Buddy & Elvis.

Deak's performance of Buddy Holly will wow you with a toe-tapping, rock 'n' roll extravaganza that will have you dancing and singing right up to the end, as shivers will undoubtedly go down the backs of everyone, as that fateful night of February 3rd 1959 is relived.

Deak performs some of Presley's greatest hits from his most memorable years, dressed in the white jumpsuit, portraying Elvis in his prime, 1970 - 1973. Deak brings all the energy & charisma of Elvis, but with his own shoulder-shaking & hip-swivelling moves, which will flutter the hearts of many, as they are taken back to remember the King of rock 'n' roll.

Deaks' musical abilities are endless. He has performed with cast members from the West Ends' 'Buddy Show' and 'Ferry Across the Mersey.' He has also performed alongside 'The Troggs' and 'The Glenn Miller Orchestra' on an open air venue playing to over 2000 people


The Show. Equipment
Legends of Rock 'n' Roll is a self contained professional tribute cabaret show dedicated to Buddy Holly & Elvis Presley, staring Deak Rivers in the title role.

This is a two part spectacular 2 hour show, featuring a minimum of 45 minutes of Buddy Holly and over a hour of Elvis Presley, both in full costume, with a 20 minute interval of 50's & 60's music. We also have a variety of in-house music to be played before and after the show.

Legends of Rock 'n' Roll are fully equipped with our own PA & lighting equipment, full costumes and sound engineer. Deak uses only the highest quality backing tracks, but sometimes also performs with his own backing artists to enhance your evening.

We will start with performing some of Buddys' greatest hits like, Peggy Sue, Rave On, True Love Ways, Heartbeat & Oh Boy.
