Biography
I Played music on a semi-professional basis from 1974 until 1995. Have only played occasionally since then, although recent retirement from the "day job" has left me keen to get back playing a little more! Began playing solo gigs in 1974. Mainly local pubs and clubs, but also some support gigs. Joined folk band, Sprig in 1982. Played with Sprig until 1995. Recorded a single and an album with them. Have been playing constantly since, in the privacy of my home and in friends' houses. Have done the occasional set in various concerts etc. In the past, I have also produced, written and performed in a number of stage shows, pantos, revues etc. As a teacher, I was heavily involved in school stage productions over the years.

Equipment

I'm a guitar geek!  I play an Artisan dreadnaught acoustic, a Martin OM28v, on old Yamaki dreadnaught, a Gretsch Grand Concert cutaway acoustic, a Stagg classical......and a Mahalo Uke!

Typical Set List
As well as a selection of my own material, I play covers from the likes of Gordon Lightfoot, James Taylor, John Prine, Jackson Browne, Ken Andersen, Alison Krauss, Guy Clark etc.  I also include some traditional material.
